Ball Python catching a mouse

Jake the Snake looking for a meal

Yummy! Friends 'til the end?

This is the end, friend!

Is the mouse just playing dead (or plain dead)?

The tail looks crunchy!

My ball python is about six months old, and he seems to be getting fatter but not longer. I keep feeding him (or her?) a mouse every 5-7 days, and sometimes a rat-pup. It is good to see the python has a healthy appetite, and at least it is growing (fat?).

Cool Burmese Python. My brother had a similar reptile when he was a lad. I see your one likes mice.

Hmmm.

It got to the point with us where we had to breed our own rats to keep Pythagorus (the python's name) happy.

Nice Blog you got here Spider63.
Sorry for not noticing your comments on my aquarium blog...I must have missed the email-notification. Hobbywise I'm more into my GI Joes than my fish. I have my son taking care of those goldfish (dang, I should probably doo a water change by now:lol )
And I'm feeding the parakeets.
Have you seen my Action figure blogs and forums?
www.ETHQ.blogspot.com
more links on there.
Take care,
ET

Perhaps that's my problem. I need to get a creepy snake to kill all of my mice in my kitchen. Too bad I'm terrified of them both.

If you have mice, those green rat kill blocks will exterminate them very well. I forgot the name. The other excellent resource is the sticky paper that the mice stick to when the walk on it.
